Punnet
Pack House
Grapes
are packed in plastic punnets with a net weight of 500
gram.
Grapes leave the conventional packing area already trimmed
and sorted for punnet packing.
On arrival in the punnet pack house, the bunches are grouped
together by a computerised packing system and packed in
the punnets by a trained packer.
Thereafter punnets are packed into 5 kg cartons. Cartons
are palletised into
units of 105 cartons. After cooling the fruit is ready
for export.
