The management of Rekopane Estates paid a visit to Hex River Valley during March 2009. The main aim was to enjoy the trip, but complementary to that, they paid a visit to the co op packhouse, Hexpak. The aim of visiting Hexpak was to see if the Vizier System is developed enough to implement at Rekopane Estates.

The first prototype Vizier System was developed at Rekopane Estates. The main aim for the development of this system is to have a consistent grading mechanism, even berry size and the correct weighing of the fruit.
