NAFTALI ROSES AND HERBS

We sell roses and herbs direct to the public .

We deliver bouquets and Tussie Mussiess in Upington, daily.

We do flowers for: weddings, functions, offices and funerals.

We grow herbs and roses trough out the year.

We offer groups excursions – showing and teaching them about the growing, planting and meaning of herbs and roses.

We grow roses in a tunnel through out the year – 9 varieties, which include the dark red Bell Rouge, the incredible pink and white, Flash Back, the lovely, rich orange, Spicy and Penguin which has a white base strongly tinted with green.

Out side we have 6 000 rose trees and more that 30 000 herb plants. (By the way – a rose is also a herb!)

Some varieties out side: Esther Geldenhuys, Red Intuition, Mondale, Oranje Meisieskool, Blue Moon, Pretoria Boys, Leana.

Herbs grown on the farm include: Rose Geranium, Myrtle, Mint, Oregano, Thyme, Rosemary, Lemon Grass, Lavender, Chives and Basil.

Naftali is well known for marketing and distributing the nosegay, Tussie Mussie. No less than 6 different herbs are used in making the Tussie Mussie – which is sold through out the Northern Cape.

People can visit the rose and herb plantation by appointment – picking your own herbs and roses.

You are lovingly thought how to make the Tussie Mussie and learning the meaning of the different herbs. Which herbs to use when preparing food and how to begin your own herb garden.

During summer the herbs are sun dried – During the winter months 6 different herb rubs and scrubs are prepared and sold to farm stalls and on the farm.
