Prime
Prime is the earliest South African seedless export variety and was developed by The Volcani institute in Israel. The berries are round and of average size for seedless varieties. Bunches are well filled, without being compact and the variety has a good shelf life. It has a light muscat flavour - a fresh and crispy new season taste!

Flame Seedless
A multiple cross of, among others, Cardinal, Sultana, Malaga and Muscat d’Alexandrie. It was released in California in 1973. The first South African red seedless variety, with attractive colour and a very pleasant taste! The berries may be slightly smaller than the other red seedless varieties, but the crispy taste makes up for this. South Africa’s Flame Seedless is recognised as being amongst the best in the world.

Sugraone
Sugraone was discovered as an unknown seedling in California. It is a white seedless variety with exceptional large berries for an early, seedless variety. It has a good shelf life. The berries have a slight muscat flavour when fully matured.

Thompson Seedless
South Africa’s most important white seedless cultivar! Belongs to Sultanina family and has no rudimentary seeds. It has elongated berries, good bunch sizes, with a fleshy, melting taste. South African Thompson Seedless is known for its outstanding appearance and quality.

Crimson Seedless
Crimson Seedless is a red, mid- to late season seedless variety developed by D. Ramming in California. It normally ripens one week later Sunred Seedless. Crimson tend to ripen well on the vine, extending the season for seedless grapes. The bunches are attractive, filled with slightly elongated berries of maroon-red colour. Crimson has a melting crispy flavour and sweet taste.

Red Globe
Red Globe is a multiple cross between, among others, Red Emperor, Hunisa and Nocera, which were eventually again crossed with one another to obtain the new selection. Red Globe has very large round berries, which develop a wine-red colour. The berries are firm and fleshy with a strong skin. The South African Red Globe eats well and is extremely attractive with a good shelf life. It has a fleshy melting sweet flavour.

Victoria
Victoria is a cross between Waltham Cross and Cardinal and originated in Romania where it was developed by Madame Vittoria de Lepardatu. It is an early seeded variety with large berries. The large bunches are attractive and the large berries are popular amongst consumers.

Regal Seedless
Regal Seedless was formerly known as Regent Seedless. It is a South African bred early wit seedless variety and ripens a few day earlier than Thompson Seedless. Regal Seedless naturally produces large berries. It has a tough skin and delivers good shelf life. The bunches are normally near perfect with even sized berries.

La Rochelle
La Rochelle is one of South Africa’s mid-season noble black seeded varieties. The large, crunchy berries present a unique grape eating experience. The bunches are well-filled, unique dark black coloured and berry size that is naturally better than that of Alphonse Lavallée. Good keeping quality and outstanding shelf life!
