Prime
Prime
is the earliest South African seedless export
variety and was developed by The Volcani institute
in Israel. The berries are round and of average
size for seedless varieties. Bunches are well
filled, without being compact and the variety
has a good shelf life. It has a light muscat
flavour - a fresh and crispy new season taste!

|

A multiple cross
of, among others, Cardinal, Sultana, Malaga
and Muscat d’Alexandrie. It was released
in California in 1973. The first South African
red seedless variety, with attractive colour
and a very pleasant taste! The berries may be
slightly smaller than the other red seedless
varieties, but the crispy taste makes up for
this. South Africa’s Flame Seedless is
recognised as being amongst the best in the
world. |

berries of maroon-red colour. Crimson has a
melting crispy flavour and sweet taste. |
|

Red Emperor, Hunisa and Nocera, which were eventually
again crossed with one another to obtain the
